Owen Wright Rookie of the Year
Last night Rip Curl's Owen Wright was crowned 2010 Rookie of the Year at the ASP World Surfing Awards at the Gold Coast convention center. Surfing's night of nights hosted the world's best surfers including the current ASP World Tour and distinguished figures from the surfing industry.
In 2010 Owen finished the year as the World No. 7, with his best result and equal third at the Billabong Pro in Brazil.
